New section – collection

A new section of the website will show my current collection of games (if anybody is interested into looking in that sort of thing). The lists are generated by GCstar, a really nice personnal collections manager. It supports different profiles of collections (games, movies, etc.). It’s compatible with Linux, Windows and Max OS X and can be found here: http://www.gcstar.org/

For the video games profile, you can add a lot of details for each entries (tips section, ratings, physical condition, serial number and more) and can also be used as a launcher. You can also fetch the information from several websites for making things easier (MobyGames is the best this far and Jeuxvideo.com is good for french games)...

Here we go again!

Months after months, I have being struggling about what to do with the website. Originally went from a free WordPress space to a Facebook page, I now have a dedicated web space, so I can do whatever I want (within reasons, of course).

The original idea is still here, which is about reviewing games and hardware, but also about gameplays videos (or “Let’s play”) and I am also thinking about adding other features, like a mirror section. I have unlimited bandwidth and space, so perhaps it may worth it to add such feature, which is basically offering a “backup” download server for modders and game developpers whenever their main download server is down or overloaded. That also includes hard to find or no longer available content, like mods, whatever if it’s popular or for historical use.
